At age 4, I fell in love with music after watching Fantasia. I grew up on classical music, and played cello in middle school.
Then Mom and Dad got me a guitar, and it was off to the races!
I learned bass, drums, and keys. I started writing and tap’s been wide open ever since. I worked out how to arrange, produce, and engineer. Every style was interesting - from classical to rock to jazz to EDM to ambient. It was a rich, wonderful world of sound that’s never stopped expanding.
I came out of college with a couple hundred tracks, 5 instruments learned…and an architecture degree.
In 2013, I moved to Brooklyn with my band, CMYK. I also performed live dance music for a few thousand people in England. That same trio got to play the Hammerstein Ballroom!
In my late 20s, I started being asked for work: composing for shorts and podcasts, producing records, and playing guitar for artists. I love it all, but I felt home in writing for film. Every step of the process resonates with me, and working with people is a total joy.
